Sew and Tell... Market Shout out
If you are like me and you can't get enough of craft, vintage, homemade yummies and well markets in general then you need to get yourselves on down to Sew and Tell this Saturday 26th of May. Yep only 3 days away. With over 30 stalls bulging with all sorts of goodies you are in for a treat.
So for all you northern NSW folk, Gold Coasters, Brisbanites or anyone else accessible to Bangalow, fill the car with a few friends and make your way for a very rewarding day.
The fair runs from 10am to 4pm ... A and I Hall, Station Street, Bangalow NSW (Australia). For anyone who's never heard of Bangalow.. it is about 15 mins from Byron Bay. The most beautiful 15 min drive you'll ever take.
You can find more details on Sew and Tell blog or facebook page. Heck you can even find the details on the Frankie website. (You'll notice a pic of our wrapping paper).
Oh and you will find us there... what more encouragement do you need.

This inspires me...
Ladies and gentlemen,
We are finding that our lovely fans want to know know what inspires us. So we will be starting a monthly series of blog posts on what inspires our creativity.
I'm currently in the process of designing Love Mae's new range and products (exciting)! I am loving tints of colours and how they look in patterns. I'm also loving geometric, aztec patterns. Which has me a little torn as my heart is committed to floral. So my challenge is mixing the two styles to suit Love Mae's sweetness.

Love Mae turns 4!
Yep we've become very partial to free things over the last four years. It might be because we feel like eternal uni (college) students. It could be because we are all firm believers that the best things in life are free.
Help us spread the love by sharing our website to a friend and receive a FREE downloadable birthday card. Yep the thought is really sweet... as is the card.
Click below and share away to your hearts content! I'm sure they won't mind at all!

We Love Mum
On a side note: How cute is Peta's family?!
1. What do you love most about being a mum?
I love that I get to be a child all over again...I love the excitement over the most little things in life. We wear silly dress ups, bake cupcakes and make a big mess, dance around the lounge room any time of the day, sing silly rhyming songs. I know you might be thinking you can do all these things even if you don't have children... but not the way you get to do it with little ones. You go out of your way everyday to make life fun.
2. Whats a handy piece of advice that works for your family?
I am the sort of person that really dislikes routine... in fact I usually rebel against it. My girls have taught me to embrace it. Balance and a little bit of routine makes monotonous bits like dinner and bedtime so much easier for everyone. My biggest bit of advice though is ... 'if you are happy, so are they'
3. What would you most like to teach your children?
To love and think with their hearts. I also would love them to truly and deeply know that everyone is different and that is what makes the world so beautiful.
4. How do you balance owning a business and being a mum?
Sometimes the balance can be so difficult to manage. In truth I work a lot at night when the house is all quiet. I choose to be there for them before and after school so I've got to make up the hours somehow... therefore my sleep can sometime be the last thing on the list.
